The EU Parliament endorses the increase of THC level for industrial hemp on the field in a key vote on the Common Agricultural Policy

Brussels – Last week, the European Parliament voted on its negotiating position regarding the three regulations that shape the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). This text will be object of negotiations with the Commission and the Council, aiming at finding a common position to be adopted next year. MEPs voted in favour of the increase of THC level on the field from 0,2% back to 0,3% and of the possibility to establish marketing standards for hemp.
